Front Cover and Bellhousing Modification

Front Cover and Bellhousing Modification

revised November 20, 2000

I wish I had a picture of this front cover BEFORE I walnut hull blasted it. It was positively hideous! Five minutes of light blasting turned it into a thing of beauty. Don't forget to take the pressure relief valve out and clean it and it's bore up so that it will operate smoothly.

My "rear cover" was made from an automatic bellhousing.

Fortunately, it just barely fit under the bandsaw.

Rough edges were cleaned up by the belt sander, clamped to the table saw so it wouldn't go anywhere.

No too bad, huh? Wait till we visit the hull blaster.
